Panakon Water
Panakon Water Recipe is here. Panakon is a refreshing drink which is normally served during the Cavadee Festival here in Mauritius.
It is very tasty and great for the Summer Season. You can drink it chilled too. I am going to share the recipe with you today and I am sure you will love it too as it is very easy to prepare.
Panakon Water Recipe
Ingredients
1 tbs of Tamarind Pulp
1 tsp of Cardamom Powder
1 ripe Banana
1 tbs of Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp of Ginger paste
Sugar to taste
1.5 litre of Water
1 tsp of Cardamom Powder
1 ripe Banana
1 tbs of Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp of Ginger paste
Sugar to taste
1.5 litre of Water
Instructions
- Peel and crush the ripe banana with a fork or you can even put it in a blender. You can add a little water in it so that you can blend it well.
- Put water in a jug up to 1/2 level of the jug.
- Now, add the crushed banana, cardamom powder, tamarind pulp, lemon juice, ginger paste and sugar.
- You may add more water in the jug depending upon how much it can contain.
- Mix well.
- It is now ready to be served.
As you can see, Panakon is very easy to prepare. You can also keep it in the fridge.
