In fact, papaya contains proteins, minerals, vitamins and it is very good for proper digestion. It prevents constipation and haemorrhoid. It also helps when you have stomach burning sensation. You just have to eat half of a ripe papaya and all your stomach problems are gone. You feel so light and refreshing.

It is recommended for children, pregnant women and nursing mothers to consume it regularly as it is an excellent tonic and an energy-giving food. The raw papaya is a great help for those who have irregular menstrual flow. It helps the contraction of the muscle fibres of the womb and also diminishes the pain during menstruation.
