- Cut the squid just like you cut potatoes for chips but this one must be a little thinner.
- Wash well and take out the excess water by absorbing them in a cloth.
- Put them in a bowl.
- Add pepper powder, garlic and ginger paste, dark soya sauce, and salt.
- Mix them well.
- Add 1/4 cup of cornflour.
- Combine them well.
- Now, take a tray and place white paper on it.
- Take the cut squid one by one and put them in the 3/4 cup cornflour. Let them be coated well with it.
- Place each of them separately on the tray.
- Put the tray in the fridge for one hour.
- After that, fry them till they turn into a light brown colour.
- Take out the excess oil and transfer them into a serving dish.
