You cannot say that you have never experienced anger in your life because that will be a lie. In fact, everyone has experienced anger but not everyone understands it. People take anger to be natural and therefore, they don’t try to find out how to understand the anger that appears in them and how to even stop being angry.
It’s not that when you are angry, you just do whatever is there in your mind and that would be right. In fact, most people have experienced a disastrous outcome from anger and still, they let anger master themselves whenever it appears.
How To Understand Your Anger Better
You need to have this understanding that anger cannot appear on its own. There must definitely be something that has triggered it and if you don’t try to find out the root cause of this problem, then how can you live a peaceful life.
It’s not that you try to control your anger now and then, you forget about it. You need to understand its process well, then only you will be able to get rid of it permanently.
If you try to control your anger, this means that you are trying to suppress it. Then, at any time, it can appear again and finally, you won’t be able to stop it. It will merge like a volcano. This is why understanding your anger is a must.
So, how to understand your anger?
First of all, you need to know that anger is an emotion which is negative and if you act upon this type of emotion, you are bound to do a negative action too.
So, as you can see, a negative emotion creates a negative action and the consequence is that the first thing that you do is to hurt yourself and then, you are not only making the atmosphere around you heavy with negativity but you are also hurting other people.
This way, you create a field of negative energy which is not good for everyone. What you are seeing here is only your anger and top of that, you go on creating more negative thoughts which go on intensifying your anger. This is where you become a dangerous person. You can do anything that will take you to a very bad ending.
In fact, you have the habit of trying to deal with your anger when in reality, anger is not the primary emotion. It isn’t alone. You have more emotions which are hiding behind it.
So, this means that you are not seeing the whole picture of what is happening to you.
You can only see that there are negative thoughts and anger. The emotions that are hiding behind anger may be doubt, frustration, sadness, jealousy, hatred, rejection, revenge and more.
Therefore, the first thing that has triggered your anger is either you saw something which was not right as per your perspective or you have heard something which had triggered first negative thoughts, secondly, the other emotions and finally, anger in you.
This means that you need to find out about the process of anger first, then you will be able to understand why it has appeared. Once you have a deep understanding of it, then it will be easier for you to get rid of it permanently.
