You have been used to live with the ego since childhood and you have also nourished it. When you feel hurt, you are not even aware that it is your ego which is hurt not you. This way, you go on protecting your ego by believing that it is you.
So, as soon as you realize that something is wrong in you, you start searching for the Truth and it is here that you take the decision to start your Spiritual Journey.
Normally, this journey is started by reading articles and books on Self-Improvement but after sometimes, you find out that it is not enough as you find yourself still stuck within. What you need here is a Spiritual Guide who will teach you how to proceed with your inner search.
Know that it is as per your Awareness Level that you get a Spiritual Guide. You are attracted to a Spiritual Guide as per your inner growth only. This is because you are attracted to that Spiritual Guide who is teaching as per your level of understanding.
The fact here is that as you go on with the practice of the techniques given to you by the Guide, you happen to find that you are still stuck and this time, you decide to go to another Spiritual Guide whose teaching is somehow different from the one with whom you are now.
So, this way, you go on changing your Spiritual Guide and at the end, it happens that you come across the one whom you find that you can finally get settled with permanently. You feel that this is the Right Guide for you. It is here that the real Spiritual Journey starts. Know that it’s not only a Spiritual Journey as it’s also the Journey of the Ego.
