The Inspirational Running Experience

The Running Experience

Running has always been taken as a sport but the fact is that it is not only a sport. You don't need the physical body only. You have to use your inner powers such as awareness, motivation, observation, concentration, focus, and determination too. This way, you are making your inner powers, not only accessible to you but you are also increasing their intensity when you are running.

The Running Journey

Today, I am going to share with you the Running Journey of my son Krishna so that you can get an idea of how inspirational the running experience is.

Krishna started running when he was still a kid. At that time, he just loved running and he did so any time he felt like running whether it was on the streets, on the playgrounds, or even in the parks. As he grew older, running has become his passion. He said that the first key to running is PATIENCE.

Some years back, he started taking running to be a must as he started running regularly, and also he started checking his progress. He was progressing day by day.  And, as he was practicing, he noticed that DISCIPLINE was very important in order to achieve the goal he was aiming at.

For him, if you train for 30 minutes or even more every day, you are going to build endurance, you are going to strengthen your legs, and the respiratory system is going to adapt itself as per your progress. This way, you become fit and you can run faster. Your pace becomes faster and thus, you can run for a long time.

Running has always been his favorite sport. He ran his first 4 kilometers in 17 minutes. Then, in order to decrease his running time, he needed a Running Coach. In fact, at first, he felt that by just running every day without anyone helping him, he would decrease his running time but later, he found that it was not so.

He realized that he needed a lot of training in order to decrease his running time and that could happen only when he could get guidance from a Professional Running Coach. The training included strength training, circuit training, tempo running (this is a sustained effort run that builds up the body's ability to run faster for longer periods of time), endurance training, and plyometrics (this is a type of exercise training that uses the speed and force of different movements in order to build muscle power).

After some months of training mentioned above, his running time had improved a lot and this is due to the help he received from his Running Coach. He did all that he was told to by his Running Coach and due to this discipline, he found a lot of improvement in his running journey.

He said that the training was difficult but if you listen to your Coach, discipline yourself and practice a lot, you will definitely achieve bigger goals. His improvement showed that in the past, he ran 1.2 miles in 9.40 minutes, and now, it is 1.2 miles in 7.34 minutes.

He is still in the process of making more improvements and this is due to the disciplines he is applying. He also bought better running shoes and other accessories that have helped him a lot.
