Most of you may not know but visualization and imagination are not the same. They have different functions and imagination doesn’t have the power that visualization has.

Do You Know The Power Of Visualization?

Most people think that visualization and imagination are the same but the fact is that there is a difference between the two. I remember when I was in the Art class, my teacher used to ask us to imagine something and materialize it on paper.

At that time, most of the things that appeared through my imagination were images of either that which I had dreamed of which have not yet materialized or that which I had already seen before.

Therefore, with my imagination, I was either in the past or in the future. I was not in the present moment. I used to close my eyes and tapped the power of my imagination so that I could create either a scenery or an object and then materialize them on paper.

Tapping the power of imagination is another process and I will write about it later.

You need to understand that the reality is that you are neither living in the past nor in the future. It’s only your mental state which is either in the past or in the future and when you are busy with it, then you forget about the present moment completely.

Be practical. You are living in the now, in this precise moment. So, it is only in this moment that visualization can happen. This is because in the now, you are totally aware. There is not even any thought, any emotion or even your mind.

Imagination can never appear in the present moment. This is because it is the creation of the mind. It is one of the powers of the mind and the fact is that your mind can either be in the past or in the future.

It’s only when you are aware totally, that you are in the now and this is where visualization happens. This is because visualization is the creation of Supreme Awareness. The mind can never create visualization because it doesn’t have this power.

The power of Supreme Awareness is the greatest of all because it is the creator of all the powers. So, when any power flows from it directly, then know that the creation will be very powerful. This is why visualization is more powerful than imagination.

Therefore, this is the difference between the two and if you can understand it here, then it will be easier for you to understand what I am going to write on visualization.
